It is possible to save money on medical supplies when you use a distributor in conjunction with a GPO (group purchasing organization).  The GPO is able to pass volume savings through their contracts to the distributor.  Our current national distributor, McKesson, works closely with New Source Ambulatory to achieve the lowest pricing possible on products we use every day.  As our volume for specific products increases, New Source Ambulatory negotiates with the factories for reduced prices, which flow through McKesson to our offices.
